Supporting children through every stage

At Aruma, children and young people are never just participants. They are individuals with unique voices, dreams, and potential.

From early childhood through to adolescence, we provide child-safe, trauma-informed support across Queensland and Victoria. Whether a child is in out-of-home care or transitioning between placements, we stand alongside them every step of the way.

As a HSQF-registered, child-safe organisation, we partner closely with Child Protection, families, caregivers, and specialist services to ensure every child’s needs are met. Our trauma-sensitive approach recognises the impact of past experiences while focusing on creating pathways to brighter futures.

Out-of-home care

A safe home when families need extra support. Our out-of-home care services in Queensland provide nurturing, trauma-informed environments where children with disability can feel safe, heard, and connected.

From short-term placements to preparing young adults for independent living, we walk beside each child on their journey.

Targeted Care Packages

Finding the right fit for each child. Our Targeted Care Packages in Victoria provide flexible, wraparound support to help children and young people transition from residential care or stay settled in their current placement.

With dedicated Key Workers and trauma-informed care, we help every child find the living arrangement that works best for them.

NDIS support for children with disability

Beyond our children services, Aruma supports children and young people with disability through our NDIS-funded therapeutic services.

From early intervention and speech pathology to occupational therapy, behaviour support, and paediatric assessment, we help children build skills, confidence, and independence.
