Applicant considerations

This is a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) property providing full accessibility.

The current vacancies are best suited for a male aged 21-60 years who is semi-independent and enjoys shared living.

The 3 current residents are males, aged 18-55 years, who all use wheelchairs for mobility. They enjoy music, sports, cars, bowling, movies, BBQs, community outings, video games, fishing, cooking and basketball.

Staff have a variety of skills and experience, including PEG feeding, manual handling, positive behaviour support, active support, mealtime management, nutrition and swallowing.

Current staff ratio is 2:5, or 3:5 at peak times, with active overnight support.
