Applicant considerations
This vacancy would best suit a female aged 20 to 39 years, joining a home seeking a permanent resident.
The current housemates are two females who enjoy music, movies, eating out, socialising, BBQs, spending time outdoors and arts and crafts. They’re mobile and independent, and one housemate is non-verbal.
This home would suit someone who’s kind, respectful, happy and energetic, and comfortable sharing space in a household that can get busy at times with health appointments. Being warm and considerate towards housemates is what matters most here.
The home has an inactive overnight sleepover support model. Staff have supported this home for more than two years and bring experience across positive behaviour support, personal care, person-centred active support, medication management, epilepsy and autism. They follow allied health plans and tailor support to each person’s individual needs.
Funding
