Summerland Farm is a special place for many in the community of the Ballina-Byron Hinterland. The team were excited to welcome Channel 7 recently, to share what makes Summerland Farm such a great place to visit and work.
During their visit, Channel 7 spoke to a number of Participants about their career journeys and the importance of the on-site support and training they receive as part of their Supported Employment.
Channel 7 also spoke to Aruma CEO, Martin Laverty about not only the importance of local partnerships with community groups and large organisations, but also the opportunities for smaller businesses to look to the disability community when hiring.
