Applicant considerations
This vacancy is best suited for a female aged 18-49 years, who enjoys a quiet but social home.
The current resident is a female in her mid-30’s, who enjoys socialising, music and arts and crafts.
Support in the home is based on a 2-person arrangement with additional support as needed. Staff have a wide range of skills and experience, including positive behaviour support, manual handling training, personal care, person centred active support, intellectual and neurological disabilities, following allied health professionals plans, nutrition and swallowing, medication management, epilepsy, dysphagia support, autism, incontinence and dementia.
The home offers support based on individual needs and staff are able to undergo specialised customer training where required.
Inactive overnight sleepover support is required.
Funding
To apply for this vacancy you will be asked to have funding for accommodation in your NDIS plan, and to pay rent and utilities. We will also ask you or your important person to sign an agreement.
