This is Scott Jordan – or Scotty to his good friends and colleagues in our Manufacturing team. This month, Scotty notched up a whopping 35 years of service, so the team put down their tools to gather in celebration of this amazing milestone.
Scotty’s managers, colleagues (and friends) and his dad came together for a special lunch to mark the occasion.
When asked about a highlight from his career to-date, Scotty said his happiest memory is the friends he has made and the people he has met over the past 35 years.
Speaking about his son’s achievement, Peter spoke fondly about seeing his two sons enter the workforce all those years ago, “two boys with a disability doing hard labour, is an achievement to me.”
In true dad style, he also gave Scotty a gentle ribbing, telling him to earn his voucher and certificate, he needed to wash up when he arrived home.
Scotty’s Manager, Brent Robards, shared his Scotty-highlight, “Scotty does the Friday lunchtime announcement every week. I think everyone looks forward to that as it’s a nice way to end the week.”
