When it comes to Club Aruma, it can be said that the only limitation is your imagination, so when the opportunity arose to partner with the Steampunk Victoriana Fair, well, that’s just Club Aruma in action.
Supported by Goulburn Mulwaree Council the annual fair is a chance to travel through time, as it never was. ‘Steampunk’ is a mix of industrial age and futuristic imaginations of how the future might have been imagined in the past. Aruma staff and participants proudly chaperoned visitors to and from the big event and what a day it was!
The Goulburn Historic Waterworks played host to visitors from far and wide who came for the creative costumes, entertainment, art and music.
Visitors were also invited to compete in mechanical teapot racing and even tea and parasol duels. If you’ve never heard of a tea duel, the winner is the first competitor to eat their entire biscuit cleanly once it’s dunked in tea – perhaps your next team building activity!
A big thank you to our staff and participants at Club Aruma Goulburn, who made sure that all attendees arrived and departed from the day of festivities safely.
