Applicant considerations
The vacancy is suited for a male or female aged over 40 years, with a willingness to live in harmony with others.
Current residents are 2 females and 1 male aged in their 40s-60s. All are mobile and require support with all aspects of daily living. They are sociable housemates who enjoy shopping, attending BBQs and beach activities.
Support in the home is based on a 4 person arrangement and includes active overnight support. Additional support is available as needed, depending on your NDIS funding. Staff have a wide range of skills and experience, including positive behaviour support, manual handling training, personal care, person centred active support, following allied health professionals plans, intellectual and neurological disabilities, mental health, mealtime and medication management.
The home offers support based on individual needs.
Funding
To apply for this vacancy you will be asked to have funding for accommodation in your NDIS plan, and to pay rent and utilities. We will also ask you or your important person to sign an agreement.
