Best Halloween costumes for people with a disability

Say hello to your adaptive Halloween inspiration!

What better time than Halloween to let your imagination run wild, create a costume that’s the perfect blend of creativity and humour – and then take to Instagram to show off your handy-work!

We’ve found a handful of Instagram users whose adapted creations are sure to spark some Halloween inspo this October 31. From a Batmobile wheelchair to a Gingerbread Man who looks good enough to eat, here are our favourite costumes for people with a disability.

Our take: Motivational speaker John Sundquist, who lost his left leg to cancer as a child, is known for his creative Halloween outfits. On his Genie costume reveal John joked: “Can your friends do this?”
