Where is our paediatric clinic available?

Our paediatrician services are available in Victoria. You can see our paediatricians in person at our Bayswater Centre, or via telehealth from anywhere in Victoria after your first appointment.

Your questions answered

A paediatrician is a doctor who specialises in the health and development of babies, children and teenagers. They can assess, diagnose and help manage a wide range of health and developmental concerns.

At Aruma, our paediatricians have experience in autism and ADHD. They work with families to understand your child’s needs and create a care plan that supports their health, development and daily life.

Your first appointment with our paediatrician will be face to face at our Bayswater Centre. This gives our paediatrician time to meet your child, understand your concerns, and complete a thorough assessment.

We’ll ask about your child’s health history, development, behaviour and any concerns you have. We encourage you to bring any reports from teachers, therapists or other health professionals.

After the initial consultation, follow-up appointments can be in person or via telehealth — whatever works best for your family.

At Aruma, we’re committed to upholding the human rights of every person we support, every time. We call this The Aruma Way — our promise to deliver high-quality support that is:

  • Your Way — Person-centred support, putting your child at the centre.
  • The Safe Way — Keeping everyone safe from harm.
  • The Right Way — Effective support, provided the way it should be.
  • Together — Working in partnership with you and your support network.

As a child-safe, culturally safe organisation, we ensure each child’s voice shapes their care journey. Our approach recognises the impact of past experiences while focusing on creating pathways to brighter futures.

It’s part of our DNA. It’s embedded in everything we do — and it’s what we hold ourselves accountable to.
