Support that fits your life
Build your independence with help when you need it.
Assistance with Daily Living (ADL) is flexible, one-on-one support that helps you with everyday tasks. Whether you need help at home, out in your community, or both, we work around your schedule and your goals.
Our support workers can help you with things like cooking, cleaning, personal care, getting out and about, or learning new skills. You choose what you need help with and when you need it.
At Aruma, we know one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we design support around you — your needs, your preferences, and the life you want to live.
Where is Assistance with Daily Living available?
At Aruma, we provide Assistance with Daily Living across NSW, VIC, QLD, and ACT. Our local teams are based in communities right across the east coast, so you get support from people who know your area.

Your ADL questions answered
Assistance with Daily Living is NDIS-funded support that helps you complete everyday tasks and build your independence. These supports are provided one-on-one and can happen in your home, out in your community, or both.
ADL supports are flexible. You choose when and where you need help, and we match you with support workers who understand your goals.
We can help with a wide range of everyday tasks, depending on what you need. This might include:
- Morning and evening routines
- Personal care like showering and dressing
- Cooking, meal prep, and cleaning
- Shopping and running errands
- Managing money and budgeting
- Help with medication
- Using public transport
- Joining social groups or clubs
- Building social connections and meeting new people
- Support at work or volunteering
- Navigating government services
Yes! Our support workers can come to your home to help with tasks there. They can also support you when you’re out in your community: like going shopping, visiting friends, or heading to an appointment. You choose where you need support.
Absolutely. A big part of what we do is helping you build skills so you can do more on your own over time. Tell us what you want to learn, and we’ll work with you to make it happen. This might mean you need less support from us in the future, and that’s a great thing.
No problem. We can provide support around the clock if that’s what you need. This could be overnight care, regular check-ins, or help with complex care needs. You choose whether it’s for a short time or longer. We’ll design it around you.

NDIS support category: Assistance with Daily Living is funded under Core Supports in your NDIS plan.
Core supports are flexible, so you can use your funding for different types of support based on your needs. Chat with your support coordinator or our team if you’re not sure how your funding works.
Please note: We bill in line with the NDIS Price Guide, which generally increases annually.
