In February, Grant decided it was time for a new hobby. He spoke to his support workers Tom and Ash – who are both keen golfers themselves – and they decided to head out to the golf course together the following Wednesday to give it a try.
It was love at first putt and Grant has since become a regular on the green – weather permitting of course. Grant has now purchased a set of clubs, a buggy and gloves – he’s hooked!

“We had a blast at the Goombungee golf course today! First ever 18 holes! He’s been working up to doing a full 18 holes for months now, practising each week and today we finally completed it, he had a blast” – Tom, Grant’s Support Worker.
This is what we like to see, it’s The Aruma Way – Grant is living his best life, his way. He’s smashing new goals, getting outside enjoying fresh air and exercise and most importantly, having fun.
Thank you to his support team who have encouraged and supported Grant’s new hobby.
