Fiona lives in one of our Supported Independent Living homes in Reservoir and is a talented Melbourne artist whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured in a special edition print for fashion brand Gorman in 2021.

Now 75, Fiona is being celebrated by Arts Project Australia – a Melbourne based visual arts organisation supporting artists with intellectual disability – with a major exhibition, 5 7 3 Float Fall Petals 10 Trees, which brings together works from across more than three decades of studio practice.

In celebration of her latest achievement, Fiona was recently profiled in Link, Australia’s national disability magazine, sharing her life journey which began in England before she migrated to Australia in the 60s. You can read the full story here.

Fiona is also the subject of a 2026 Archibald Prize finalist portrait by fellow APA artist Anthony Romagnano, her studio colleague of more than two decades. The Archibald Prize opens to the public on Saturday 9 May in Sydney, the same day Fiona’s exhibition opens in Melbourne. You can find more information here

Fiona’s support team at Glasgow are incredibly proud of her achievements, and their role in supporting Fiona to reach her goals her way, The Right Way and always Together.
