Aussie Biscuits has shared a sleigh-load of sweet cheer this month, donating Christmas-themed shortbread to brighten the week for people and services doing important work in the community.
While the biscuits may have arrived just after the usual Christmas in July rush, the donations offered a small but heartfelt way to add a sprinkle of comfort, kindness and festive fun to seven organisations in New South Wales, supporting people through challenging times.
The shortbread made its merry little journey to Survivors R Us, Ronald McDonald House, Soul Hub, Got Ya Back Sista, Calvary Mater Hospice, Reach Homeless Service and Jenny’s Place.
Amy Rankin, Employment Administration Support Officer, said “The team loves the opportunity to give back to the community and playing Santa to deliver a sweet treat put a smile on everyone’s face. It was a very wholesome morning.”
