Aussie Biscuits has been presented with a Community Recognition Award, by Phil Donato MP, Member for Orange in the NSW Parliament.

This recognition, announced during a sitting in February last year, is testament to the hard work of our teams, and the immense value of the work they do in the community. The Community Recognition Statement is now permanently recorded in the official Hansard – the official report of the proceedings of the Parliament of NSW.

So much more than a humble bikkie, Aussie Biscuits is a beloved brand in the Forbes community, and an employer of more than 30 supported employees. For almost 50 years, our supported employees have been baking up a storm. From humble beginnings, handmaking up to 600 of our famous Jam Drops a day, we’ve grown production and now bake 30,000 biscuits baked daily – but there’s a few things that haven’t changed.

We’re steadfast in our commitment to our people – creating meaningful job opportunities while giving back to the community. We also bake a great bikkie, if you don’t trust us, perhaps Phil Donato MP’s testimony might convince you. “I’ve taste-tested Aussie Biscuits and can assure you they make a great product. Well done!” he said.

The team at Forbes were overjoyed by the recognition with Dylan O’Malley, General Manager Employment saying, “The award and public recognition has been a fantastic boost for our team. Last year we recorded a 30 per cent revenue increase and it’s fantastic to see our biscuits, and our hardworking people given the recognition they deserve.”

Keep an eye out for Aussie Biscuits in a school, club, hospital, corporate office or accommodation near you. With six delicious flavours and a growing fanbase, they might be headed your way next.
