Experience

Dr Georgina Reynhout is an experienced director, having held governance roles on the boards of not-for-profit organisations in the disability sector. She has strong skills in oversight, compliance, and strategic planning.

Georgina brings deep expertise in safeguarding children, young people, and people with disability, built on a 30-year career in education and disability sectors. She advises government and non-government organisations nationally and internationally on child protection, compliance, and service delivery, and has acted as an expert witness in complex legal matters.

She is Principal Consultant at Reynhout Consulting and has held senior roles including CEO and Principal of St Lucy’s School, Principal of Macquarie University’s Special Education Centre School, and project leadership positions with National Disability Services and the Department of Education.

Georgina holds a PhD and Master of Special Education from Macquarie University, a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of London, and is completing a Juris Doctor. Her achievements include the Lee Mills Award and a Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation for Excellence in Research.
