Our customers have got talent!

We’ve rounded up 5 very talented Aruma customers for this mini talent show.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – we have some very talented customers at Aruma! Singers, dancers, artists, gamers, you name it.

To share some of their gold dust, we’ve rounded up 5 for a mini talent show. So, sit back, relax, grab some snacks, and get ready to be entertained!

Stanley

Stanley. THE famous Stanley. Hailing from Queensland, he’s a born entertainer. I dance and sing, entertain, perform. It’s just part of my life, he says. But don’t take our word for it – 123.6k followers on TikTok don’t lie!

Check out his moves, dance along, and give him all your follows on his TikTok channel at @stanleyrosenberg0

Taylor

The talented Tay, who lives in an Aruma Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Sydney, loves to sing and dance – whenever the mood takes her! I love to sing everywhere, she says. Sometimes I embarrass my mum. She tells me: ‘Stop dancing in shopping centres!’

On her YouTube channel (that’s named after her partner’s puppy Poppet), she says, I do fun things like singing, dancing, make-up tutorials… Check out Tay’s incredible voice at @poppetproductions and give her a follow!

Wayne

Our Aussie Biscuits’ Supported Employee Wayne recently achieved his goal of becoming an ‘Affiliate’ on game-streaming platform Twitch. Affiliate means that Wayne can start earning money when people watch his live-streams. He’s even added a link for his viewers to donate to Aruma!

Wayne says, A lot of people think that people with disabilities can’t do things like this, but I have proven we can. Wayne entertains his audience by playing different video games each month, such as Call of Duty, Minecraft, and Jurassic World. Next stop for Wayne: Twitch Partner! You can follow Wayne at Twoboom22

Paul

Our long-time customer Paul is a very talented mixed-media artist, who’s had his work displayed in art galleries all around Australia.

‘The Bird’, pictured below, which he presented to the Aruma board in 2021, was featured in an exhibition in the Opera House for artists with a disability. See his creations on Instagram at @paulcarboneart

Recently, our customer Sam found a new creative outlet – YouTube! Sam has really transformed since starting this project. His SIL team leader Melissa says, He’s developed many creative skills, and expanded his technology skills to help him create short videos, animation, and an array of characters, most of which he has handmade.
