Applicant considerations

This home is best suited to anyone aged 20-39 years who is social, fun, active, BBQs and enjoys going into the community to try activities such as bowling, nature walks, community events and dancing.

Current resident is male aged between 30-39 who enjoys music, sport, BBQs, spending time outdoors, socialising, arts and crafts, movies, eating out and getting out into the community to try new things.

Staff have a wide range of skills and experience, including positive behaviour support, manual handling training, personal care, person centred active support, following allied health professionals plans, intellectual and neurological disabilities, mental health, mealtime and medication management, PEG feeding, nutrition and swallowing, advanced first aid, epilepsy and autism support, incontinence, and specialised customer training where required. This home offers support based on individual needs.

This home has a support model including inactive overnight support.

We are able to accept SIL participants in this accommodation who are working towards and likely to obtain SDA funding by March 2025.
