When you have an NDIS plan, you decide which service providers you work with.
Some people find and coordinate their services themselves, but it can be quite difficult. Where do you start? There’s a lot to take in and figure out.
That’s where Support Coordinators can help. They are experts in navigating the NDIS. Support Coordinators are there to understand what you need and then find you the right supports and services to make it happen.
There are three levels of support coordination that can be included in your plan. These are support connection, coordination of supports, and specialist support coordination.
Easy! We do the heavy lifting for you and work with you on implementing your plan. No need to get lost in the haze of the NDIS, that’s our job to decipher! We’ll set you up for success to reach your goals.

Yes! All support coordinators at Aruma are independent.
Their job is to make sure they find the best option for you by looking at all the choices on the table.
Absolutely not! We always offer a choice of as many potential service providers as possible. Aruma may be one of the options if we deliver the service you are seeking in your location. It all depends on what’s best for you and you’re in control.

Support Coordination is funded under Capacity Building – Support Coordination in your NDIS plan.
If you do not have Support Coordination in your plan, you (or your nominee) will need to do these tasks.
Please note: We bill in line with the NDIS Price Guide, which generally increases annually.
There are three types of support coordination you may be funded for in your NDIS plan. Aruma offers Level 2 services for our customers.
Level 1: Support connection – this is the most basic level of support coordination type of support. It’s all about helping you understand and navigate the National Disability Scheme (NDIS) system. It focuses on building your choice and control over your supports and services.
Level 2: Coordination of supports – provides more comprehensive assistance and suitable for participants with more complex needs. You’ll work closely with your support coordinator to implement your plans. They will also do the legwork to coordinate your supports, assessing service providers, developing service agreements, and managing the quality of your supports. There will also be a focus on building your capacity to manage your own supports effectively.
Level: 3 Specialist support coordination – is a time limited support, designed for participants with significantly high or complex needs. It’s for those who require specialist expertise. Specialist support coordinators have knowledge and experience in complex service systems, therapeutic interventions and crisis management.
If your support coordination funds are Agency Managed, we will directly bill through the Aruma portal.
If your support coordination funds are Plan Managed, we will submit an invoice for payment to you Plan Manager.
We keep a record of all work done against your support coordination funds. As a registered NDIS provider, you can be assured that all our billing and work is ethical and honest and complies with the highest standards.
