Queensland’s Christmas Cheer!

The Christmas spirit has well and truly arrived across Aruma sites, and it’s quickly become a December to remember.

Everyone has been decorating trees, baking delicious treats, and planning Christmas parties. There’s so much Christmas cheer to go around.

Every year, the team at the Burleigh Head Office hosts an unforgettable Christmas party, and this year was no different.

Thanks to everyone’s hard work, there was good food, great music and more!

“The Work Education crew decorated the venue chair ties and made fresh flower arrangements for each table with flowers we sourced from the Aruma garden at the Burleigh head office.

A highlight of the menu was fruit kebabs and platters, thanks to Chef James, Pete, Justin, Emily, and Josh. The team danced the night away thanks to DJ Matthew, who volunteered his evening to bring the dance floor to life.

Several participants also celebrated the festive season by heading to Movie Worlds ‘White Christmas’ event.

“Riding the thrill rides after dark and seeing the grand Christmas parade were just some of the highlights,” said Work Education Trainer & Facilitator, Deborah Carter.

The Christmas parade had magical lights, characters dressed up in their Christmas best, floats inspired by cities worldwide, and even snow!

Being the selfless (and social) team that they are, Burleigh has also been raising money for the local Lions Club by selling their Christmas cake. The Burleigh office raised $392 for their friends over at the Lions Club – way to go!

It’s the season of giving, and our Burleigh team always gives it their best.
