Daniel’s got a heart of gold and the medal to match!

Daniel from Burleigh Forensics and Packaging site wins gold in taekwondo.

Have met Daniel from Burleigh Forensics and Packaging site? He is one of our long-term employees who is known for his happy-go-lucky personality.

Something you might not know about him is that he has recently won a gold medal in taekwondo.

“Daniel competed against nine other martial artists and won a gold medal for the Technique Movement category,” said Packaging Site Coordinator, Helen Karathanasis.

He proudly represented his dojo, FastKix Martial Arts, in the KPNP tournament held in Carrara on the Gold Coast. He was over the moon to come away with a gold medal.

“His goal has always been to get gold. He is very dedicated and always wants to do his best,” continued Helen.

Daniel brings that same level of commitment to every shift. He travels quite a far distance to get to work but that has never slowed him down.

“Daniel is our ‘go-to man.’ Whenever you ask him to do anything, he is always willing to help. He’s also got his forklift license which is an awesome achievement,” said Helen.

This year marks eight years at Burleigh Forensics and Packaging site, and throughout that time, Daniel has made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
