It’s never too late to set yourself new goals and start planning how you’ll achieve them.

For Stephen, John, and Ian, who live at the Aruma home in Reservoir (just 11 km north of Melbourne’s Central Business District) they have a few goals they want to tick off their list.

“Before COVID-19 the Reservoir house was always known as the fun house. We’d host parties and invite the other Aruma residents to come down and the guys really enjoyed socialising. They want to get back into seeing the local houses. They would also love to get to enjoy being the guests occasionally, and visit the other houses,” said House Supervisor, Breda Murray.

In the spirit of socialising, the residents are also hoping to welcome a new housemate.

There are currently two vacancies available at the Reservoir home ready for new residents to add their own flair to the house.

“Stephan and John moved into this home in 1997 and they are two of the founding customers of the house. Ian moved in around 2013 and they all get along so well. We’ve had other residents come and go, and I know the men would love to have more housemates,” continued Breda.

The spacious five-bedroom home has a shared kitchen, lounge rooms, undercover patio area and a well-kept garden. This vacancy is best suited to a male aged between 35-65 years, and more information about the home and supports can be found here.

As a man who loves his sports (football, basketball, wresting and boxing) John is looking forward to watching many matches and would love to see his AFL team, Collingwood take on another premiership.

Ian is looking forward to new experiences at his local day program, and Stephen loves going to parks, the library and café’s.
