COVID-19 update: Qld restrictions

Update about easing of restrictions for the Greater Brisbane area and what this means for Aruma's services.

COVID-19 restrictions have eased across Greater Brisbane. You can find out more about this on the Qld Government website. As a result, the restrictions in our services have also eased.

Greater Brisbane 

All our services in Greater Brisbane (including City of Brisbane, Lockyer Valley Region, Logan City, Moreton Bay Region, Redland City, Scenic Rim Region, Somerset Region) are now operating at a green rating.

  • Masks: It is no longer mandatory for our staff to wear masks; however, we are still encouraging them to do so in some situations
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and Children’s Services: visitors are now allowed
  • Community Hubs: We continue to operate our Hubs
  • Offices: Staff can continue to go to the office
  • Facility Services: This team will continue to operate
  • Flexible Supports: We will also continue to provide this service to our customers

The rest of Queensland 

  • All our services continue to operate at a green rating
  • Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and Children’s Services: Visitors from Greater Brisbane are now allowed

A reminder to always monitor your health 

The Queensland Government continues to encourage everyone to get tested if they have even slightest symptoms. A list of testing locations can be found on the Qld Government website.
