At Aruma, we have many different businesses across NSW and Qld. This includes a biscuit factory in Forbes, and Facility Services teams based in Dubbo & Forbes servicing the Central West, Orana, Riverina and surrounding areas.

Our businesses are expanding and have lots of positions available! We are always looking for new employees, particularly for our Facility Services teams.

So what exactly is Facility Services?

Facility Services include a range of grounds maintenance and cleaning roles.

Working in Facility Services is suited to people who enjoy working with their hands, being part of a team and socialising with others.

Our Facility Services team have a range of hands on activities including:

  • Mowing lawns
  • Pruning and gardening
  • Litter collection
  • Graffiti removal
  • Gutter cleaning and water pressure washing
  • Light cleaning duties

No previous experience or training is needed – on the job training will teach your customers everything they need to know.

It’s not all work and no play at our Aruma businesses. The teams love to have fun celebrating special events like birthdays and are always down for a cheeky Friday barbecue.

What skills can customers learn?

Supported Employment at Aruma, will give your customers the skills and training to find a job in open employment down the track.

This can include:

  • Driver’s license
  • Forklift license
  • Work Cover White Card
  • First Aid certificate

I’m interested, what’s else do I need to know?

Now for the fine print (that is actually pretty easy). To become a Supported Employee, your customer must:

  • Receive or be eligible for the Disability Support Pension
  • Be accepted into the NDIS
  • Have an NDIS plan with funding under ‘Core Supports’ or be willing to apply for funding
