Our beautiful farm, a business of Aruma, is a major tourist attraction and consists of a restaurant and function centre, and packing and dehusking facilities. We also raise pastured chickens and grow macadamias and avocados.

Horticulture

  • Bulk Fruit Packers – heavy lifting in warehouse environment
  • Fruit Graders – identifying and grading fruit for wholesale
  • Fruit Packers – packing fruit (production line) into trays for wholesale
  • Pallet Stackers – assisting with packing duties
  • Nut Sorters – identifying and removing reject nuts from production line
  • Forklift Operators – operating machinery and equipment
  • Carton Shed Operators – operating machinery and building cartons
  • Cleaners – cleaning within the horticulture sheds

Farm

  • Fruit Pickers – working at heights picking avocados on Afrons
  • Harvester Operators – harvesting macadamias and use of machinery
  • Ride-on-Mower Operators – grounds maintenance
  • Tractor Drivers – mulching and chemical application

Restaurant and Functions

  • Kitchen Hands – assist Chef with preparation of food
  • Baristas – coffee preparation and customer service
  • Register Operator – taking customer orders and processing cash payments and eftpos
  • Customer Service for Front of House – serving meals, clearing tables, setting up for functions

Retail Hub

  • Register Operators – serving customers for food, plant and ticket sales – cash and eftpos processing
  • Baristas – coffee preparation
  • Food Attendants – use of kitchen equipment and delivery of food
  • Customer Service Attendants – assisting customers in retail areas, including Grocer and nursery
  • Park Attendants – maintaining the tourist facilities and assisting where needed with customer service duties
  • Tour Guides – taking groups of visitors on guided tours
  • Ticket Booth Operators – assisting customers in Park information and customer service

Administration

  • Register Operators – taking customer orders and processing cash payments and eftpos
  • Cleaners – cleaning and hygiene duties
  • Reception – use of computer and phones, taking messages and administration tasks

Site Services

  • Cleaners – cleaning and hygiene duties
  • Animal Attendants – feeding, cleaning and caring for animals
  • Landscape Maintenance – gardening and landscaping duties
  • Tractor Tour Operators – driving tractor for tours
  • Maintenance – maintenance duties, repairs and construction
  • Park Attendants – cleaning, maintaining and attending to park needs

Who can apply?

To join our team you need to have a Disability Support Pension (DSP) and access to funding through the NDIS. You will also need to be physically able to carry out the requirements of your role (reasonable adjustments and support is available).
