An active NDIS campaigner and champion, we have already transitioned over 2,500 people to the scheme.
Aruma (formerly House with No Steps) was an active campaigner and champion for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We were also one of the first disability service providers to transition participants in the Hunter, NSW in 2013.
We are excited about the NDIS and the opportunities it can bring for all people with disability.
As an experienced provider, we’re here to help make positive changes happen.
Aruma has a strong reputation for successfully supporting people with disability with complex planning and support needs. To date, we have already transitioned over 2,500 people to the NDIS.
We understand the vital role that families play in all our lives and always encourage family members to be part of the planning meetings with staff, choosing support staff, and setting up support reviews.
People with disability may want to include family in some parts of the process or have them involved every step of the way – the choice is theirs.
