Find out about the ways you can volunteer your time to help support people with a disability.
Volunteering connects people with their communities and enriches the lives of everyone involved.
Aruma (formerly House with No Steps and The Tipping Foundation) welcomes volunteers aged 16 – 80 years who wish to make a difference to the lives of people with a disability.
There is something to suit everyone in our volunteer program, such as spending time with one of our customers with a disability, working alongside our supported employees in our businesses, helping give one of our properties a face-lift, or lending a hand at a special event!
No matter what your education, background or skill set, we’d love to hear from you.
Due to the nature of our work, we require our volunteers to provide a personal reference letter, as well as pass a Police Check (NSW). If needed for the role, we also ask for a Working with Children Check.
