Graeme: What would you change for people with a disability?
Alastair: I think it’s quite simple. Attitudes and inclusiveness.
I mean, they’re interrelated.
It doesn’t matter where I go, or where a person with a disability goes, you’re just automatically included.
You need captions for a movie? Fine.
You need access to a building? Fine.
You want a job? What type of job do you want?
There’s the assumption that you can, not that you’re marginalized or you can’t be included in a party or you can’t travel overseas.
