Applicant considerations
This vacancy is best suited for a male or female aged 40+ years who enjoys living with others and accessing the local community. Current residents are 2 males aged 40-59 years old. They enjoy going to the movies, music, cooking, swimming, dancing, and going shopping.
Support in the home is based on a 3 person arrangement and includes inactive sleepover support. Additional support is also available as required and funded. Staff have a wide range of skills and experience, including positive behaviour support, manual handling training, personal care, person centred active support, following allied health professionals plans, intellectual and neurological disabilities, mental health, mealtime and medication management.
Funding
To apply for this vacancy you will be asked to have funding for accommodation in your NDIS plan, and to pay rent and utilities. We will also ask you or your important person to sign an agreement.
