The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has announced a new price guide for 2020-2021 for your NDIS supports. These new prices start on the 1st of July 2020. You can find more information on the NDIS website.
Each person’s plan is different and the new prices will affect your plan in a different way to other people. Here are a few things you need to know.
From 1 July 2020:
The good news is, there are more support opportunities available to you! An Aruma staff member will talk to you about your current schedule of supports. You can talk to them about some of the new options.
The changes to the pricing and the new line items means that you will need to sign a new service agreement and a new schedule of supports.
This is going to take time. We need to talk to all our customers at Aruma. There is also work Aruma needs to do to make sure we can bill you correctly.
There will be no change to your current supports until you talk to your Aruma support staff about your new service agreement and schedule of supports.
The NDIS are introduced a new funding model to assist businesses to fund support for people with a disability. We will be in touch later in the week with more information on this for supported employees.
Your Aruma support staff will contact you soon to arrange a meeting. They will take you through all the new options and explain how the new prices affect your plan.
You will not receive an invoice for the next few weeks.
In the meantime, you may want to check out the new options using the links above to see if these are areas you may be interested in.
If you have any questions or are worried about how this affects you, please talk to your support staff or get in touch by email or on 1300 538 746.
