Aruma’s Strategic Plan for 2025-2027

Our purpose at Aruma is to foster inclusion and create equal outcomes for people with a disability across all stages of their lives. We have a vision that one day, Australians will see an inclusive society where people with disability the same opportunities as other citizens have to live well and contribute to society.   

Aruma’s new Strategic Plan for 2025-2027, includes three pillars that will guide us to achieve that purpose and vision.   

The three pillars, “Include. Support. Build” will drive and unite the work we do across the organisation for the next three years.   

1. Include. Enabling people with a disability to live inclusive, self-determined lives so they can live the life they want. 
2. Support. Continuously improving the quality of our support services so they are consistently safe, effective, person-centred and connected.  
3. Build. Building a sustainable human rights organisation so we can continue to deliver participant outcomes.   

Each pillar has objectives and measures with tangible strategic initiatives for achieving our purpose and vision. This plan highlights the outstanding we are already undertaking and pushes us to do better in supporting people with disabilities to live self-determined and inclusive lives.   

We aim to continue being a sustainable human rights organisation that provides quality services and supports, while keeping our promise to always put You. First.
