After 16 years at the helm, our CEO, Andrew Richardson, will finish up at the end of July 2022.

Here’s his announcement…

Hi everyone,

I have some big news (for me, at least!) to share.

After 16 years, the time has come for me to retire as CEO of Aruma. I plan to finish up in July.

I love leading this very special organisation. It is truly a privilege to support our customers, and being entrusted to provide this support is something I have never taken lightly.

Personally, it’s time for me to prioritise my family. Professionally, after 16 years, it’s also time for someone with new vision, energy and ideas to lead Aruma on the next exciting stage of our journey.

My retirement is nearly six months away. Until then, it’s business as usual for me. I will continue to lead Aruma and lobby for a better deal for people with a disability and the organisations like Aruma that support them.

Aruma’s Board will begin the search for Aruma’s new CEO soon. They will let you know of the outcome of this process at the appropriate time.

While that goes on, our staff will stay focused on serving and supporting our customers and standing up for people with a disability. That’s the reason Aruma exists, and that’s certainly what I’ll be doing!

I’ll be in touch again soon,

Andrew Richardson
