Our Belrose disability service is the proud owner of a brand new kitchen, kindly donated by IKEA after being displayed in a homeshow.
Our Belrose disability community support service is the proud owner of a brand new IKEA kitchen.
IKEA Sydney kindly donated the proceeds of a kitchen that was displayed at the HIA Sydney Home show . Those proceeds were then used to purchase a kitchen from IKEA’s AS-IS department for the service. The AS-IS department contains clearance items, overstocks, discontinued products and display merchandise for heavily discounted prices.
It’s been a huge job ripping out the new kitchen, installing the new cabinets and hooking up the electrical appliances. We had some wonderful volunteers from IKEA who helped build the flat packed cabinets. We also couldn’t have done it without assistance from some great local businesses.
Special thanks go to Northern Beaches Skip Bins and Trend Kitchens. A huge thank you also goes to the many staff and family members who have volunteered their own time to help make the project a success.
A special mention goes to:
Thank you to all these people for their time. Without them the kitchen would not have been possible.
